The core gameplay is there but performance issues on my system made it less enjoyable. Frequent crashes during large battles ruined several sessions. Not much in terms of new features to stand out. Might improve with future updates but currently feels average at best.
Decent strategy title but it lacks some innovation compared to earlier entries in the series. Controls are responsive and the tutorial is helpful for beginners. Matches can drag on a bit too long at times. Still enjoyable for casual play with friends though.
Solid experience overall with good campaign missions that teach the mechanics well. The AI opponents provide a decent challenge without being too frustrating. Some balance issues in certain matchups but patches have improved things significantly. The variety of units and buildings keeps the gameplay interesting across multiple sessions.

The multiplayer modes keep things fresh with constant updates and balanced factions. I have spent countless hours exploring different civilizations and their unique abilities. Graphics are stunning and the soundtrack enhances the immersive experience perfectly. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys historical settings mixed with engaging gameplay.
